Designed for State of the Art, Cutting Edge recording and mixing studios, and destined to be a legend, the MPS-1611P is a self-powered biamplified precision nearfield monitor suitable for a wide range of demanding and critical audio applications, only limited by the imagination.

In a very compact package, the the MPS-1510 is in many ways the most technically correct MPS monitor. This 2-way, magnetically shielded near-field monitor is designed for environments such as small rooms, mobile studios, desktop environments, and other setups where the monitors are located close to the mix position. Typical applications include multichannel music, project studios, broadcast, multimedia, film, and critical voice monitoring.

Due to vertical space limitations, there might be times when a lower profile speaker might be desirable. The MPS-1520's compact design makes it an absolutely perfect match for this application. The MPS-1520 uses two 5.25" Polypropylene Mid-Woofers and a 1" soft-dome Ferrofluid tweeter and matches the other MPS series professional speakers in timbre and overall sound quality. The MPS-1520 uses M&K's high performance Ferromagnetic Shielding System to insure that no interference with delicate CRT's, magnetic media, or other equipment can occur. This speaker is therefore an excellent choice for center channel uses. The cabinet is slanted at 7.5 degrees so if the speaker is mounted above or below a center video monitor the high frequency audio dispersion is more easily aimed and controlled.

A high resolution, precision Tripole™ surround speaker, the MPS-1525 uses the same driver elements and is timbre matched to their larger monitors.

Suitable for small to mid-sized rooms and near to mid-field monitoring, the MPS-1610 combines M&K Professional's 1" soft-dome Ferrofluid tweeter with a reference quality 6.6" polypropylene woofer. Magnetically shielded, the speaker can be used adjacent to or on top of CRT monitors. Typical applications include music mixing (both stereo and multichannel) project studios, broadcast, multimedia, mastering, post, forensic, and surveillance audio.

Based on the critically acclaimed MPS-2510, this is a speaker system containg two amplifiers in the same physical cabinet as the speaker. The MPS-2510PK Powered monitor uses the same woofer and tweeter drivers as the passive MPS-2510, with an Active Phase-Focused Crossover, in a slightly larger cabinet. User selectable vertical directivity allows for optimization in various monitoring environments. The Narrow position has controlled directivity for the most focused sound, and helps to keep high frequency energy from splaying off the ceiling or console surface. The Wide position covers a deeper seating area for listeners at a producer's desk behind the mixer. The MPS-2510 features a 150-watt amplifier for the low frequency transducers and a 150-watt amplifier for the high frequency transducers.

Accompanying the MPS-2510 main channel passive speaker is the MPS-2525 (passive) Tripole™ surround. The MPS-2525 is designed to match the MPS-2510 and 2510P in output, timbre and overall sound quality. As with all of Miller & Kreisel Professional Tripole™ Surround speakers, the MPS-2525 features switchable directionality response by allowing the user to switch between the following modes:
Tripole™ mode - in this mode the speaker radiates energy as a Dipole and a Direct Radiator simultaneously, providing even illumination of sound in both direct and reverberant field and is what many engineers feel the best compromise between diffuse and direct radiating sound.
Dipole mode - this mode this mode provides a diffuse surround field that matches the performance of the surround array used in cinema applications. This mode works best in rooms that have some reflective surface on the front, sides, and back of the room.

The MPS-2810 is an amplified push-pull 8" driver subwoofer with a 200 watt continuous amplifier. This subwoofer uses M&K Professional's "Backfire" design. The MPS-2810's compact design allows it to be placed in locations where most subwoofers would not fit
